Dr. Jorge Astiazaran Orci, Mayor of Tijuana, announced the investment of US$62.5 million by the Acosta Verde Group for the construction of the Sendero Tijuana Mall, located in La Presa district, in the East.
This, in order to provide to the population a commercial space with services that currently are not available. The Ministry of Economic Development of Tijuana, Xavier Peniche Bustamante, said that the local government will help to manage the necessary permits and implement incentives to make investment more attractive. With the construction of this mall, 2,500 permanent jobs and 2,000 temporary jobs will be created.
