Automotive supplier generates 1,200 jobs in Chihuahua

The South Korean textile company Hansuh generated 1,200 jobs at its plant in Ciudad Juarez, additional to the current 1,300 positions. At this plant, the company will manufacture seat fabric for the Elantra and Sonata models of Hyundai, Sorrento and Optima model of Kia, the Trax of GM and the Santa Fe truck of Hyundai.

The Minister of Economy, Manuel Russek Valles, expressed that the State of Chihuahua represents a US$1.16 billion investment in this industry and more than 160 companies design, manufacture, assemble and commercialize their world-quality products for the automotive industry, which together employ more than 100,000 people.
