The State of Chihuahua is seeking to be consolidated in 2015 as the national leader in the aerospace industry. “We already have 11 prospects of the aerospace sector to start projects in the State, representing US$230 million and generating 2,000 jobs”, announced the Ministry of Economy of the State Government, Manuel Russek Valles.
He indicated that this projection was established due to the companies that already show interest to come and visit Chihuahua. These companies have analyzed the competitive advantages of the State and the new conditions for investment. Chihuahua shows great strength in manufacturing and assembly of regional and business aircraft as well as its steel structures components, high precision machining and aircraft seats and interiors, said Mr. Russek.
