FCA’s Saltillo South Engine Plant obtains the Bronze designation in World Class Manufacturing

FCA’s Saltillo South Engine Plant has won the bronze designation for its results in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) implementation; becoming the third facility in Mexico reaching this level and the tenth in North America.

The World Class Manufacturing methodology focuses on reducing waste, increasing productivity and improving quality and safety in an organized and systematic way. WCM engages with the workforce to provide and implement suggestions on how to improve their daily work and their plants. The 3.6lt Pentastar engine, manufactured in this plant, is used on Dodge Journey, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Durango, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chrysler Town & Country and other models.
