Mondelez Puebla and Nuevo Leon new plants will be ready by 2016

The Mondelez Mexico Company will expand its operations of the Chiclets Adams plant in Puebla by 2016, in order to increase its production capacity by 50%, generating 500 jobs. It will also expand its facilities in its Oreo cookie factory at Interpuerto Monterrey, with an investment of US$720 million and a creation of 600 jobs.

Mauricio Graciano Palacios, Director of Corporate Affairs, Communication and Government of the Company, explained that Chiclets Adams in Puebla, has become the hub of the four plants that Mondelez has in Mexico, including the State of Mexico, Mexico City and Nuevo Leon. With the expansion of this factory, exports will increase from 35% to 50% of production once that the expansion works are completed next June 2016.
