MONTERREY – The National Chamber of the Electronic, Telecommunications and Information Technology Industry (Canieti), together with the government of Nuevo León, will participate in the dissemination of an Innovation and Marketing program with the province of Alberta, Canada, reported Alejandra Sánchez Casanova, president of Canieti northeast region.
The company Alberta Innovates and the government of Nuevo León allocated US$500,000, while a Mexican and Canadian firm will contribute a similar amount to generate Internet of Things, mobility, data analytics and blockchain projects.
The president of Canieti explained that this fund will be joined with a Mexican company to develop a product and/or service of the Industry 4.0.
It should be remembered that the government of Nuevo León signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Alberta, Canada, in order to explore opportunities that promote innovation, which would be focused on areas of information and communication technologies, life sciences, environmental technology, and clean energy.
