OMA opened an industrial park in Monterrey Airport

The North Central Airport Group (OMA), in partnership with the property developer Vynmsa, opened the first industrial park in Monterrey International Airport. Aero Industrial Park is located within the perimeter of the City´s airport grounds, in a ​​32.4 hectares area, where warehouses for lease measuring up to 50,000 square meters, can be built.

It is estimated that by the time the project becomes operational, 6,000 direct and 15,000 indirect jobs will be created. Porfirio Gonzalez, OMA´s CEO, stated that the project will attract the aerospace, light manufacturing and the automotive sectors, among others, which will promote job creation and will attract more investment to the area. Moreover, Diego Quintana, OMA´s chairman of the Board of, said that “the development of industrial, logistics and business projects, is included in the Group´s plans for areas that are not for aeronautical use.”
