According to an analysis made by the Wilson Research Center, Ciudad Juarez has the perfect potential to develop the aerospace industry because of its location on the border with El Paso and Las Cruces.
According to the document, the region allows that Juarez, El Paso and Las Cruces grow quite large if they start to invest in this industry, because they have the best universities and the military base at Fort Bliss to conduct various studies. The analysis, called ‘Mapping and development of border industries between Mexico and the U.S.’, has some recommendations to boost the economy of the border, such as: student exchange, intergovernmental communication and investment to train more workers.
