20 investment projects arriving in Coahuila

Jose Antonio Gutierrez Jardon, Ministry of Economic Development, Competitiveness and Tourism of Coahuila, informed that announcements of first stones being set and inauguration of companies will occur in Coahuila over the next four months.

Out of the over 20 undertakings planned for the upcoming months, two Korean investment projects are now established. “These are new companies, and other businesses as well have already disclosed plans, such as Yura, which might be inaugurated in August, and Mando could be inaugurated in September”, said the officer. Without mentioning names, he said one plant shall be located in La Laguna, creating 600 jobs, and two shall go to the South East, with 400 jobs. Mr. Gutierrez Jardon also spoke about the negotiations with Lear Corporation, which is currently analyzing the possibility of establishing a plant of the seat division, either in Parras or San Pedro.
