The Sub-secretary of Economic Development and Competitiveness, Ricardo Schumm Cerda, informed that during the 2017 Seoul Motor Show, out of the 40 companies that participated in the business meetings, 8 were Korean and became interested in investing in Coahuila. These companies are in the business of polyester, energy generation through solar panels, car rims and brakes, among others. Although investment amounts or number of jobs were not disclosed in these business meetings, the expectation is to formalize some of these plans before the year ends.
