Guardian Booth opens its first plant in Mexico

JUAREZ, CUU – New York-based company Guardian Booth, dedicated to the manufacture of security guard booths and parking booths, opened its first plant in Mexico, located in the border region of Juarez, Chihuahua.

The company founded in 2015 by Abraham Taub and Abe Breuer has become one of the most important in terms of the production of prefabricated booths, being the market leader in portable security booths and modular cabinets for offices.

According to company information, Abe Breuer, Abraham’s long time friend and EMT (Emergency Medical Technicians) partner, is the owner of John to Go and VIP to Go, companies that supply portable toilets and restroom trailers to construction sites in the New York metropolitan area. Together they designed an accessible and comfortable prefabricated guard booth, with an emphasis on efficiency and user safety, and thus Guardian Booth was born.

As part of their arrival in Mexico, Taub and company partners performed the traditional ribbon cutting after giving a tour of the plant and observing the first finished parts for shipment.  Guardian Booth’s mission is to design, build and customize the right product for each client.

The staff works to create the perfect booth, from the simplest project to the most complex. The company has five basic principles such as booths designed with safety and security in mind; comfort and adaptability; competitive pricing; quality; and customer service.

The Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry Association (Index) in Ciudad Juarez was in charge of announcing the arrival of the new company.

According to Index data, Juarez has the largest number of companies operating under the IMMEX scheme in the state of Chihuahua with 322, representing 65%, followed by the city of Chihuahua with 110 (21%) and the other municipalities with 54 companies (13%).

During the month of March 2022, there was an increase of 3,436 new jobs in the manufacturing industry in Juarez. At the end of that month, there were 339,499 jobs.
