EL PASO, TX – The City of El Paso has earned the Aetna Wellness Award from Leading the Way for its commitment to creating a healthy workplace for municipal employees.
“Our employees invest much of their time and a significant portion of their lives in making a difference in our community. Unfortunately, when they retire some suffer from health issues. That’s why we are committed to investing in our employees so they can enjoy their lives when they choose to retire,” said City Manager Tommy Gonzalez.
“We are constantly developing new ways to engage our employees and provide them with innovative opportunities to get and stay healthy,” said Mary Michel, Deputy Director of Human Resources.
