NUEVO LEON – The Asian company Yinlun inaugurated a new plant in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo Leon, where 80 million dollars were invested, which is expected to generate more than a thousand jobs.
This factory is in addition to the one recently opened in Cienega de Flores and it is expected that the company will consider opening another plant in the state.
“A powerful economic boom is coming and the government is not going to be left behind. We have to be on par with the entire economy with foreign investment, in such a way that I am sure that the metropolitan area, which we know as Monterrey, is going to become a cosmopolis, because all of Mexico’s most important ports all come to Monterrey: Altamira, Tampico, Lázaro Cárdenas, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, all of them,” said Governor Samuel García.
Yinlun is a Chinese company in the automotive sector that offers thermal management solutions by manufacturing coolers, battery heaters, cooling modules, heating and radiators.
“Because in Nuevo León they find the right conditions to prosper, especially the most competitive human capital in the country, companies like Yinlun continue to arrive, to which we give a cordial welcome,” said Ivan Rivas, state secretary of Economy.
Automotive companies like the one inaugurated today, Rivas said, represent 26% of the investments that have come to Nuevo León since October 2021.
The company also has manufacturing plants in China, the United States and Poland. It also has awards for excellence from Caterpillar, Cummings, Ford and Daimler. Its portfolio includes customers such as Caterpillar, Volvo, GM, Stellantis, Ford, Stellantis, and Paccar.
