RAMOS ARIZPE, COAH – The U.S. company Lennox, dedicated to the supply of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration markets, opened its third plant in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe in the state of Coahuila.
The expansion is expected to create at least 560 new jobs for the southeastern region of Coahuila, according to Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís.
In his speech, the governor indicated that companies such as Lennox demonstrate the great potential that Coahuila has to turn their expansion projects into success stories.
“My recognition to the skilled labor force, a team has been formed to care for the industry to allow this turn to find the necessary conditions to expand. Coahuila has taken flight, it has a lot of potential and we will have great opportunities to generate more jobs,” commented Riquelme.
During the inauguration ceremony, it was announced that with the opening of its third plant, Lennox adds a total of 3,500 jobs in Coahuila. It was also announced that at the end of May, the company will announce a fourth expansion in Coahuila.
Ricardo Anaya, Lennox’s vice president of operations in Mexico, highlighted that the inauguration of the new plant marks a milestone in the company’s history, which allows them to continue with the mission and vision of transforming the lives of their workers and also to promote the economic development of the southeastern region of the state.
“In 2024 we have already announced our plant 4 project, where we will generate another positive impact on the local community with 700 more jobs,” said Anaya.
