JUAREZ, CHIH – The Secretary of Human Development and Common Good (SDHyBC) of the state of Chihuahua and the manufacturing company BPI Brake, signed a collaboration agreement “For Productive Inclusion”, with the aim of opening work spaces for more than 50 people with disabilities in Ciudad Juarez.
Sergio Acosta Liceaga, undersecretary of the SDHyBC Zona Norte, pointed out that through the collaboration of the State Government with companies, the opportunity is given to expand sources of work for vulnerable groups in the community.
The company BPI Brake is dedicated to the manufacture of braking systems for vehicles, and since the signing of the agreement, it has opened up operational jobs for people with disabilities.

“The intention of opening opportunities to vulnerable groups, we believe that it will be long term for all of them, we believe that it is something beneficial for both parties and that is why we signed this agreement with the State Government,” said Francisco Herrera Suarez, BPI Brake Plant Manager.
Suarez added that at the moment, the plant already employs two people with motor disabilities and one more with a visual disability, but this number will be increased to more than 50 soon in the four plants that the company has in the locality.
