CHIHUAHUA – In order to share experiences, best practices and key success factors, the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE) of Chihuahua, through the Institute of Innovation and Competitiveness (I2C) will participate as a special guest of the Government of the State of Jalisco in the program “Digital Transformation of your SME”.
The program will be taught by the Open Platform for Innovation and Development (PLAi), with the intention of increasing competitiveness and transferring knowledge for the improvement of business, scientific and technological capabilities.
The undersecretary of SIDE, Ulises Fernández Gamboa, thanked for the invitation to participate in the fifth edition of the program, where areas of opportunity, collaborations and best practices that allow companies to consolidate the digital transformation can be identified.
“In Chihuahua more than 99% of the productive structure belongs to micro, small and medium enterprises, they also contribute 54% of gross contribution and generate 48% of investment, being relevant the digital transformation in micro, small and medium enterprises of the entity,” said Fernandez Gamboa.
The director of PLAi, Nadia Mireles, mentioned that the institution she is in charge of collaborates with universities, government and leading companies in entrepreneurship and innovation to provide methodologies, tools and frameworks to SMEs so that they can maintain their relevance in the digital era.
The coordinator of the “Digital Transformation of your SME” program, Alejandro Burgueño, mentioned that different companies such as Mercado Libre, Business Geek, Tienda nube, CISCO, Uxbi, as well as the collaboration of academia, entrepreneurs and governmental organizations are participating, and on this occasion the State of Chihuahua will be a special guest.
Last month, the Government of the State of Chihuahua, through I2C and the Institute for the Support of Technological Development (INADET), signed a collaboration agreement with PLAi, in order to join efforts for a prosperous future and opportunities in the business and technological field through programs such as “Digital Transformation of your SME”.
