NEW MEXICO – New Mexico State University’s (NMSU) Office of Experiential Learning will host the 39th Annual Career Expo and Engineering, Science and Technology Fair to be held in September.
The University reported that the fairs will be held Sept. 19 and 20 on the third floor of the Corbett Center Student Union, with hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Career Expo is the largest fall fair that kicks off the employer recruiting season, as well as a recognized NMSU tradition as one of the premier events offered on campus.
More than 180 employers will participate, including HF Sinclair Corporation, Los Alamos Technical Associates Inc, Honeywell FM&T, Bradbury Stamm Construction, Inc. and Public Service Company of New Mexico, to name a few.
Students will have the opportunity to network with employers from across the United States who are looking to recruit graduates for full-time jobs, as well as for their co-op and internship opportunities.
“This year we are proud to welcome a record number of employers to this year’s Career Expo,” said Patricia Leyba, director of NMSU’s Office of Experiential Learning. “We have gone to great lengths to ensure that this fair is inclusive of employers looking to hire all majors across all of our outstanding colleges and disciplines.”
Meanwhile, the Engineering, Science and Technology Fair, which will take place on Sept. 20, focuses on STEM-related employers as part of the Career Expo.
