TAMAULIPAS – The Secretariat of Energy Development of Tamaulipas (SEDENER) presented the state’s strategic projects at the 8th WOGE&WOGC2023, a world-class event organized by the Oil&Gas company in China.
On behalf of Secretary José Ramón Silva, SEDENER’s technical secretary, Alejandro Contreras, presented Tamaulipas’ wealth and potential in energy matters.
One of the projects highlighted was the Northern Port, which aims to be the number one port in the country thanks to its strategic position with the US border. The North Port will be multimodal, which will make it an important distribution center for goods and energy.
Tamaulipas’ participation in WOGE&WOGC2023 is a key platform to foster new investment opportunities in the energy sector. The state seeks to attract investment from Chinese companies to boost the development of its strategic projects.
The state of Campeche, which has been a key ally for Tamaulipas in energy matters, also participated in the event.
