CHIHUAHUA – Esentia Energy Systems and the Instituto de Capacitación para el Trabajo (Icatech) laid the first stone of a training unit to be built in Delicias, Chihuahua, with a project investment of US$456,000.
The training unit, which is expected to be ready in July 2024, will offer courses in various technical areas, such as construction, manufacturing, energy, and services.
Esentia Energy Systems will be responsible for the construction and supervision of the project, while Icatech will provide personnel and manage operations.
The company will also donate the furniture to equip the center, which represents an additional US$28,000.
Vania Labán, vice president of Corporate Affairs at Esentia Energy Systems, said the project is an achievement for the company and will contribute to the professional and academic growth of the people of Delicias.
Mario Vázquez, secretary of Communications and Public Works of the state of Chihuahua, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and private initiative for this type of project.
Arturo Morales Reyes, general director of Icatech, said that the training unit is a key catalyst for the region’s economic development.
Jorge Alberto Ramírez Duarte, director of Urban Development and Ecology of the municipality of Delicias, thanked the institutions involved for investing in technical training.
