NUEVO LEON – As part of the bicentennial of the founding of Nuevo León, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Economy will organize the Tourism Investment Forum on March 19 at Pavilion M. The purpose of the event is to promote the attraction of investments to the state.
Governor Samuel García Sepúlveda highlighted the importance of the forum, noting that it seeks to bet on innovation, culture and tourism.
“Everything must be oriented to development. Now to public transportation, obviously taking care of the environment and water, but Monterrey today I tell you we have everything as a state for this city to bet strongly on Innovation, Culture, Tourism,” said Garcia.
The Secretary of Tourism, Maricarmen Martinez, explained that the vision of the forum is to promote the attraction of sustainable tourism investments to boost sustainable regional development, strengthening strategic sectors such as gastronomy, culture, health and wellness, nature and adventure, cinematography and meetings.
“We want to continue positioning Nuevo León in every corner of Mexico and the world. This Tourism Product Investment Forum is a world-class event, unique in Mexico, with a business meeting room, 55 exhibitors and more than 200 invited investors,” said Martinez.
The forum will also offer more than 15 panels and 600 business appointments, providing the opportunity for municipalities to have appointments with entrepreneurs interested in investing in their localities, thus boosting economic development and job creation.
The Secretary of Economy, Iván Rivas, pointed out that the forum will promote the attraction of investments by taking advantage of the economic impact of nearshoring and the arrival of international events in Nuevo León, such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
