MCALLEN, TX – Volaris, the Mexican airline announced the launch of its new nonstop flights from McAllen International Airport (MFE) to Cancun, Quintana Roo (CUN).
This new route, which began July 3, 2024, will offer travelers from McAllen and the Rio Grande Valley a convenient and economical option to visit one of Mexico’s most popular vacation spots.
“Direct service to Cancun opens up a world of leisure and business opportunities with its beautiful beaches, rich cultural heritage and vibrant tourism industry.” said McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos. “Now, thanks to Volaris Airlines, our residents can enjoy the convenience of direct flights to this paradise to make travel to Cancun more efficient and enjoyable.”
