CHIHUAHUA – With the objective of promoting the creation of 143 new businesses in Chihuahua, the Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development signed an agreement with incubators from various academic institutions, as part of the alliance between academia, organized civil society and the public sector.
The Undersecretary of Innovation, Competitiveness and Business Development, Jesús García López, headed the signing of the agreement with seven incubators from institutions such as the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, Universidad La Salle, Universidad Tecnológica de Ciudad Juárez, Instituto Tecnológico de Cuauhtémoc, Instituto Tecnológico de Parral, and Instituto Tecnológico de Jiménez, as well as Fundación Axel AC (FUNAX).
The purpose of this collaboration is to promote the consolidation of new businesses, stimulate entrepreneurs to materialize their ideas, and formalize their companies.
With this program, we plan to facilitate the start-up of business projects and provide a clear understanding of the steps necessary to manage the entire process of creating and developing a business.
“We are looking to mobilize incubators and entrepreneurs who approach these institutions to have that opportunity to open their business in a formal way. The state is a very strong state in these matters and it is thanks to you and thanks to the networks, and to all those who have become involved in this ecosystem,” said Jesús García.
According to García, the program also seeks to boost the local economy by strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem, thereby generating the conditions for the creation of new businesses.
