REYNOSA, TAMPS – With the participation of the private sector, the Ministry of Energy Development, the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Economy kicked off the Energy Supplier Development Program for the Energy Sector of Tamaulipas.
The first forum of this program was held in the border city of Reynosa, which had great participation of companies to join and work in coordination for the energy development of the state.
The program seeks to promote and encourage the sustainable use of the state’s renewable and non-renewable resources, through the development of social, environmental and economic policies and actions to contribute to access to affordable energy.
In addition, it promotes citizen participation in energy sector activities, also prioritizing energy savings and efficiency, as well as the creation and operation of companies with majority state participation, agencies, funds and public trusts related to the energy sector.
The event was attended by Alejandro Rodríguez Contreras, technical secretary and in charge of the office of the Undersecretary of Hydrocarbons of SEDENER; Abelardo Flores Mendoza, Undersecretary of Employment and Social Welfare of the Ministry of Labor.
