YUMA, AZ – Tennessee-based National Alloys, a leader in the production of metal alloys, has expanded its operations to the city of Yuma.
According to the Greater Yuma Partnership, the company has signed a lease for a 6,000-square-foot facility.
National Alloys specializes in the production of various metal alloys for industrial applications and serves a broad customer base that relies on its metal components.
Greater Yuma noted that the expansion in the region reflects the company’s commitment to meet growing demand while contributing to the local economy.
As part of its investment in the region, National Alloys plans to invest more than US$5 million in state-of-the-art equipment and hire up to 40 full-time employees. These positions will offer wages significantly above the county’s median wage, providing high-value opportunities for local residents. Hiring for the first phase of this expansion is expected to begin soon.
“This is an incredible addition to the City of Yuma’s industrial landscape,” said a spokesperson for the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corporation (GYEDC).
The company’s arrival aligns with GYEDC’s efforts to attract businesses that contribute to long-term economic prosperity.
