The Government of Baja California and representatives from the academic, business, and industrial sectors will participate in the 2025 Paris Air Show, considered the most important aeronautical event in the world. The fair will take place from June 16 to 22 in Le Bourget, France.
Participation will be led by the ProBaja alliance, made up of state authorities and economic promotion agencies from municipalities such as Tijuana, Mexicali, Ensenada, and Tecate. The delegation will be present at the Mexico Pavilion, coordinated by the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA), and has an agenda that includes meetings with companies in the sector, educational institutions, and international development agencies.
Among the companies with which meetings are planned are Collins/RTX, Siemens, Honeywell, Safran, Gulfstream, GKN, and Thales. Interaction with delegations and trade agencies from Quebec, Arizona, and California is also planned.
In addition to participating in the event, the delegation will tour Switzerland and Germany. Among the scheduled activities are a business seminar with Switzerland Global Enterprise, a visit to Swissnex—a Swiss organization dedicated to innovation and education—and a meeting at the University of St. Gallen.
Baja California is home to 21% of the country’s aerospace companies, with 94 companies and a workforce of more than 40,000 people, making it one of the leading regions in this industry in Mexico.
The international mission seeks to attract investment, promote technological development, and strengthen ties with innovation centers, universities, and companies in the aerospace sector.
