Chihuahua reaffirms its commitment to industrial and commercial development in Ciudad Juárez
The Secretary of Public Administration, Roberto Fierro Duarte, presided over the event held by the Local Association of Customs Agents of Ciudad Juárez, within the framework of the integration of the Delegation of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers of the United Mexican States (Concamin) in Chihuahua.
During his speech, the official recognized the productive sector and foreign trade, which strengthen the state’s economy on a daily basis, and highlighted the strategic role that this border plays in the development of Chihuahua and the country.
He underscored the importance of Ciudad Juárez being designated a priority Economic Development Hub, an achievement made possible through the coordination of the three levels of government, in order to attract strategic investments and promote sustainable economic growth for the region.
“The San Jerónimo Welfare Hub will focus on high value-added sectors such as electromobility, semiconductors, medical devices, battery plants, and secondary mining, which are part of this new stage of development,” he said.
The secretary recognized the work of the Local Association of Customs Agents of Ciudad Juárez, as well as the role of Concamin in strengthening productive and industrial capacities, highlighting that competitiveness is built with knowledge, innovation, technology, and human talent.
“Concamin adds, organizes efforts, and opens opportunities to continue strengthening productive and industrial capacities. Thus, with the support of our Governor, we reiterate our commitment to walk hand in hand with this Delegation and the associations that comprise it,” he said.
He assured that all projects will be closely monitored with the vision of consolidating Ciudad Juárez as an economic engine that benefits families and strengthens the competitiveness of the entire state.
