Coahuila records five consecutive months of decline in industrial activity

Industrial activity in Coahuila has recorded five consecutive months of annual decline, according to data from the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía through the Indicator of Monthly Industrial Activity by State.

The latest figures, corresponding to November 2025, show the state’s industrial activity fell 10.4% compared with the same month in 2024, placing Coahuila among the states with the largest declines nationwide.

Previous months also showed negative annual variations, including October (-7.2%), September (-6.6%), August (-6.0%), and July (-3.2%), reflecting a sustained downward trend in the state’s industrial performance.

By sector, the decline affected several areas, including mining, energy generation and distribution, construction, and manufacturing, with the manufacturing sector recording one of the most significant drops.

These results highlight a period of industrial slowdown in Coahuila, a state known for its strong manufacturing and export-oriented economy.
