Coahuila continues to expand its industrial footprint with a new investment in advanced manufacturing in the La Laguna region, reinforcing its position as a strategic hub in northern Mexico.
A new engineering and manufacturing complex in Torreón represents an investment of approximately 800 million pesos and is expected to generate jobs while boosting regional productivity. The facility will focus on the design and production of fluid control solutions, including industrial pumps, valves, and automated systems, serving key sectors such as energy and automotive.
State authorities and industry leaders emphasized that projects like this strengthen local supply chains and attract foreign investment, consolidating La Laguna as a growing center for high-value manufacturing. The region’s competitiveness is supported by a favorable business environment, skilled workforce, and strong collaboration between government, academia, and industry.
The investment also opens new opportunities for local suppliers and specialized talent, further integrating the region into global production networks and supporting long-term industrial development.
Coahuila remains a key player in Mexico’s manufacturing sector, particularly in automotive and advanced industry segments, with continued investments reinforcing its role in North America’s supply chain.
