The state of Chihuahua strengthened its international presence by participating in strategic forums and high-level meetings during Hannover Messe 2026, widely recognized as the world’s leading industrial trade fair.
During the first days of the event in Germany, the Chihuahua delegation held more than 80 meetings with companies and international organizations, including over 30 pre-scheduled sessions and numerous direct engagements with potential business partners.
The agenda included meetings with representatives from Baden-Württemberg, as well as participation in an investment seminar at the Mexican Embassy in Berlin, where more than 60 companies explored business opportunities. The delegation also met with organizations such as Germany Trade & Invest and JETRO, strengthening ties with both European and Asian markets.
In addition, Chihuahua representatives took part in specialized forums focused on industrial artificial intelligence, advanced automation, digitalization, and sustainable energy systems—key areas driving global industrial transformation.
These efforts helped position Chihuahua in strategic sectors including automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and electronics, as well as in emerging industries linked to technological innovation.
Hannover Messe brings together thousands of companies and industry leaders from around 150 countries, serving as a critical platform for investment, strategic partnerships, and the development of cutting-edge technologies worldwide.
Through its participation in this global event, Chihuahua aims to strengthen its role as an advanced manufacturing hub in North America, attract foreign investment, and deepen its integration into global value chains.
