Baja California reached FDI amounting US$1.685 billion during the first 4 months of the year, surpassing the investment of the previous two years, said Alfredo Babun Villarreal, Minister of Economic Development of the State, who also emphasized that the goal for this year 2015 is to reach US$2.4 billion.
The foreign investment so far has come from different sectors, perhaps the most relevant is the electrical generation EPLA plant to be installed in Mexicali, at a cost of US$298 million.
