Jeon Hak Soo, President of Yongsan Automotive inaugurated Yongsan’s new plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila. According to the Company, US$23 million were invested in this project, which will generate up to 900 jobs.
The President of the South Korean firm reaffirmed its commitment with Ramos Arizpe and the State of Coahuila. He added that they are ready to start production by May 2016 with a permanent training plan to ensure the quality they currently have. Yongsan Automotive supplies Hyundai and Kia Motors in the U.S., Brazil and Mexico, with an annual capacity of 1.5 million pieces of garments. The Governor of Coahuila, Ruben Moreira Valdez said that the arrival of Yongsan to Ramos Arizpe confirms the confidence of investors to bring resources to the State, thanks to all its competitive advantages.
