The nanotechnology industry in Mexico has a potential market valued over US$1.5 billion. Jesus Gonzalez Hernandez, President of the Nanotechnology Cluster of Nuevo Leon, said that the Nanotechnological products market reached a value of nearly US$350 billion in 2013, worldwide.
Besides, he highlighted the importance to drive Mexican highly specialized companies to a global level. On the other hand, the State of Nuevo Leon generates a 40% of the Mexico’s nanotechnology industry total production, as well as it promotes incubators and innovative programs for this sector.
