Authorities of the Ministry of Economic Development (SEDEC) in Nuevo Leon will do a business trip to China and Japan, aiming to attract more than US$600 million of FDI, which may come from four Japanese companies and three Chinese.
Samuel Peña Guzman, undersecretary of Investment and Industrial Development, said that the companies supply the automotive sector with products such as brakes components, wiring, harnesses, among others. Some of the firms with which they will do businesses are: Toyota, Denso, Takata and Bridgestone. Fernando Turner Davila, Head of the SEDEC, explained that all this stems from the Hofusan project, which includes industrial, commercial and housing parks in the Municipality of Salinas Victoria, built by the companies Holley Group and Futgon Group and Mexican investors.
