Korean corporation Hyosung, manufacturer of airbags for the automotive sector, laid the first stone to its Torreon, Coahuila plant, with the presence of State Governor Ruben Moreira Valdez. The Company will invest US$86 million and generate 700 jobs.
With the arrival of Hyosung, 27 new investment projects have landed in the Laguna region. The Company participates in the energy, construction, textile and chemical products sectors. The Torreon plant will produce fabric to elaborate automotive airbags, but there is a plan to start producing automotive upholstery later.
