Over 20,000 jobs were generated in Ciudad Juarez, during the last months of 2016, compared to last year, where 250,000 new jobs were created.
Meanwhile, 270,000 jobs were provided by the Export Industry (INDEX), Maquiladoras Association (AMAC) in 2016, informed Jose Yarahuan Galindo, President of INDEX-AMAC. He underscored that the goals have been met, the maquiladora production has yielded the expected results, the two-three year planning of the manufacturing industry is giving out the prospected results, regardless of companies having one, two or three working shifts.
