The Ramos Arizpe General Motors complex, in Coahuila, will start assembling the second generation of its Equinox utility vehicle, by mid-January 2017 and the necessary adjustments to the production line are being made to this effect, informed the firm.
On this occasion, there is going to be three weeks of inactivity by the end of the year at the assembly plant, which will be used to develop the last adjustments to the production line. Due to the great flexibility that has been the trademark of the GM Ramos Arizpe plant, the process to add the Equinox will not have any setbacks, considering that this new SUV will be built in the same platform the Cadillac SRX had.
