Companies from the U.S., Canada, Spain and Italy grew their investment in Chihuahua from US$10 million up to US$70 million during the first trimester of 2017, compared to the same period of time in 2016.
FDI coming from the U.S. had a growth rate of 33% in 2017 compared to the same period in the year 2016, shifting from US$207 to US$277 million invested in manufacturing plants in the State. Spain increased its investment from US$16.5 to US$28.2 million, Canadian investment escalated from US$45.5 to US$57.7 million and Italian investment shifted from US$2,000 to US$10.2 million (that is 6,000% more).
