Mexico is ranked number one software developer in Latin America, and Baja California has a State-managed cluster strategy which promotes grater growth rates and more competitiveness, unique in the Mexican Information Technology (IT) sector.
Oscar Rivera, President of the National Council of Software and Information Technology Clusters, underscored that the State has annual turnover worth US$500 million. In addition, he said that: “The medical and aerospace industries are already turning their eyes towards IT companies to become allies to make companies more competitive.”
