With the aim of contributing to the training of future professionals, technicians and specialized operators in the automotive industry, KIA Motors Mexico donated 15 units of its Optima model to the Colegio Nacional para la Educacion Profesional Tecnica (CONALEP), as well as the Facultad de Ingenieria Mecanica y Electrica (FIME) of the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon (UANL)
“Recently, KIA reached 500,000 units produced in Mexico and the company wants to support local schools with technology and knowledge. These models have more than 30,000 components in them that will be very useful for teaching future professionals in the automotive industry,” said Jinhwan Kim, director of Human Resources and Administration at KIA Motors Mexico.
Moreover, Kim stressed that without the effort of each and every single person involved in the educational process, automotive success would simply not be possible, as they are the ones that play an imperative role in the development of talent in Mexico.
