The project to install and start a customs section inside Interpuerto Monterrey became a reality.
Authorities of Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) recently confirmed the news to the customs section B, mentioning that this is a “project designed to become a logistics and manufacturing pole that will provide companies with access to the US market and the rest of the Mexican Republic, “.
According to the SAT, the operations that will be carried out in this customs section include the export of merchandise through road, goods export through rail, the import of goods arrived by rail transit to the Salinas Victoria A site and the import of goods arrived by road traffic.
The inauguration of this customs section was celebrated on the World Customs Day and, among the attendees were, Margarita Ríos-Farjat, head of the SAT, Jaime Rodríguez Calderón, governor of Nuevo León, Mauricio Garza Kalifa, general director of Interpuerto Monterrey, Ricardo Peralta Saucedo, general administrator of customs, and Luis Alfonso Aguirre Lang, president of the National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry (INDEX).
