An investment of US$1,115 billion, in addition to other projects, place Tamaulipas as one of the most important economic development centers in the country.
Francisco Garcia Cabeza de Vaca said that in the southern part of Texas, which is the same basin that reaches Tamaulipas, that route today produces 2 million barrels of oil only in that area, in the whole country today, are produced 1.3 million barrels per day.
“Tamaulipas is the most privileged state due its strategic location, infrastructure and its people; it also has one of the broadest horizons in the country in terms of energy, both for its deposits and resources,” said Garcia.
