CIUDAD JUAREZ – The governor of Chihuahua, Javier Corral, said that if the Federal Government does not support Juarez hospitals, they will use the public-private investment mechanism to end them. Public-private investment schemes are mechanisms in which governments with business associations can carry out investment projects.
Corral said the state of Chihuahua does not have the capacity to complete the Specialties and Cancerology hospital on the border, projects that exceed $52 million in completion and equipment.
It is worth mentioning that during the last meeting with the minister of Federal Health, termination of hospitals’ issues were discussed once again , and authorities assured that the project continues to stand within the government of Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
