CIUDAD JUAREZ – With a total investment of more than US$1.2 million contributed by the Federation, the State Government, the Private Initiative and Educational Institutions, Centro de Innovación en Moldes y Troqueles del Estado de Chihuahua (CIMyT) located in Ciudad Juárez, was developed and launched.
The resources that made possible the formation of the CIMyT came mainly from funds from the Program for the Development of the Software and Innovation Industry, the State Government, Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), Centro de Entrenamiento en Alta Tecnología, as well as the local industry of Ciudad Juárez.
This center, launched in June 2018, meets the technological demands of the automotive industry in Mexico.
Its main objective is the strengthening of small and medium industry with the implementation and execution of highly specialized training for the area of molds and dies, in addition to providing advanced manufacturing services and proposing projects that promote technological development and innovation.
