MONTERREY – Due to the labor conflict in Matamoros, the manufacturer of safety systems for the automotive industry Joyson Safety Systems decided to relocate its operations in Nuevo Leon, informed to El Economista Roberto Mattus Rivera, CEO of Consejo Nacional de la Industria Maquiladora y Manufacturera de Exportación (Index) Matamoros.
The undersecretary of Labor in Nuevo Leon, Adalberto Núñez Ramos, confirmed that the Chinese company, manufacturer of steering wheels and safety belts will be reinstalled in the municipality of Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon.
Joyson Safety Systems was the first maquiladora to announce its departure from Matamoros on February, after dismissing around 550 workers, due to the illegal strikes in Maquiladoras carried on by workers demanding a wage increase.
