NUEVO LEON – Despite the uncertainty, Interpuerto Monterrey foresees a good year for the attraction of new companies from the food, automotive and manufacturing sectors coming from Asia, Europe and the United States; five projects are expected to be completed in the second half of this year, stated Mauricio Garza Kalifa, director of Interpuerto Monterrey.
It is estimated that these five projects could represent investments of more than US$150 million.
“There is interest from foreign investors to come to Nuevo Leon, we notice dynamism in the number of prospects visits, although 2016 was the record year for attracting companies, there is a good flow of visitors that tells us that 2019 will be a good year,” added the executive.
The executive anticipated that due to an investment increase, they are waiting for them to be materialized in order to evaluate a second stage of expansion at the Interpuerto.
