Chihuahua promotes program for economic development

CIUDAD JUAREZ – The State Government, through Secretaría de Innovación y Desarrollo Económico (SIDE), promotes “The Bridge Accelerator Binational Supplier Development Program”, with the purpose of strengthening the economic development of the region of Ciudad Juárez and El Paso, Texas.

Governor Javier Corral Jurado led the launch of the program, promoted by the Technology HUB in Juárez and The Hub of Human Innovation in El Paso, Texas, a binational effort that seeks to strengthen the region, as well as Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

In a ceremony that took place at the facilities of Technology HUB, the president stressed that the project supports those companies that know about the logistics and operation of the export industry, and aims to push them to growth, train them and generate areas of opportunity in the Ciudad Juarez market.

He indicated that for many years the supply chain has handled between 2% and 4%, so now it is about starting companies and put them into operation, incubate companies for this purpose.
