SCT to invest US$52 million in Coahuila Highways

COAHUILA – With an investment worth US$52 million, Secretaría de Comunicación y Transportes began the expansion and maintenance of the 1,200 kilometers of federal highways that connect with Coahuila, stated Reyes Flores Hurtado, coordinator of the Federal Delegations in Coahuila.

In addition, Flores Hurtado added that works by SCYT staff began on the extension of the Nueva Rosita road to the municipality of Allende, as well as the road to Derramadero.

He considered that the financial ceiling of Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes for the expansion and maintenance of federal highways for Coahuila in 2019 is about US$52 million.

The official even stressed that the federal government doubled and surpassed the US$52 million for this year, thanks to the rescue of all the infrastructure of the federal highways that converge with Coahuila, and how this prevented it from deteriorating.
