Danfoss will carry out expansion in Nuevo León

APODACA – Denmark’s Danfoss company will expand its industrial refrigeration line at its Apodaca, Nuevo León, plant. This with the purpose of supplying the demand for its products in the Americas.

“Industrial refrigeration is consolidated in the food and beverage industry, with ammonia being the most common refrigerant being present in 99% of the facilities,” said Xavier Casas, CEO of Danfoss Mexico.

Casas added that there are currently around 15 plants in Mexico using these types of systems, due to the restrictions and validity of freon refrigerants, both ammonia and CO2 refrigerants will begin to have a presence in commercial refrigeration.

On the premises, Danfoss will manufacture valves and filters to cool food, control electric motors, gas compressors, variable frequency units, and power mobile machinery.
