CHIHUAHUA – The governor of Chihuahua, Javier Corral Jurado, announced that in August he will publicly announce the 2019-2021 Investment Plan “More Works With Value” for more than US$314 million that he is contemplating for Ciudad Juárez.
At the state level, the investment will be of US$944 million, which is coming from resources resulting from the restructuring of the state’s public debt.
In Ciudad Juárez, actions are contemplated in areas such as public transport, overpasses, the rehabilitation of the historic center, cycle paths, paving, housing, environmental care, hydraulic infrastructure, among other projects.
Corral Jurado stressed that the projects were defined thanks to the financial restructuring of the state. He announced that the second stage of this is underway, with which resources can be obtained for an amount close to US$262 million.
