COAHUILA – The Governor of Coahuila, Miguel Ángel Riquelme, informed that the recently created Secretariat of Productive Public Investment has appointed Gerardo Alberto Berlanga Gotés as head of said agency.
This was announced on the governor’s social networks, adding that the agency will be in charge of financial investment models to increase productive investment through public-private partnership projects.
It is worth mentioning that in mid-March, Congress approved the State Public-Private Partnerships Law to initiate this mixed investment scheme and created said agency, which will seek financial models for productive public investment to increase public resources without incurring public debt.
Its functions include establishing itself as an agency with technical capacity and specialization in productive public investment to carry out research, structuring, planning, development and implementation of technical-financial models for productive public investment at the state level.
The new agency will develop the functions of technical-financial consultant; as well as train technicians and officials specialized in financial administration.
